More information:
Seductively rich, deep and earthy flavours predominate this warm ambrosia from some of our forest giants of the southwest, to those of the milder east. A full bodied honey with a smooth and extensive flavour gathered from Eucalyptus forests in the South East of Tasmania.
Its light brown can vary slightly depending upon the tree or bush from which the honey is collected. It’s a beneficial pure honey variety to battle inflammation, assist with recuperating wounds – and similarly, as eucalyptus helps with congestion and coughs, this raw organic honey is a good choice for those fighting colds or the flu.
Eucalyptus honey has natural antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It typically has a high level of hydrogen peroxide as well as low moisture content and low pH level. This makes it exceptional at preventing the spread of bacteria, reducing the numbers of bacteria at the site of infection, and speeding wound healing time and recovery.
